What You’ll Do as a Welder:
- Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications to understand product requirements
- Set up and weld aluminum components using MIG, TIG, and other welding processes as needed
- Inspect finished welds using measuring and inspection equipment to ensure quality standards are met
- Grind, de-bur, and finish components to achieve required surface specifications
- Perform basic equipment repairs and preventive maintenance as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety procedures and 5S principles
- Load and unload materials and shipments using appropriate equipment when required
What You Need to Bring to the Welder Role:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous welding experience preferred; MIG and TIG experience is a plus
- Ability to obtain welding certifications as required
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect parts to customer specifications
- Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and participate in additional training as needed
