What You'll Do as a Welder / Fabricator:
- Perform MIG (GMAW) and FCAW welding on mild steel materials
- Complete welding and fabrication projects according to specifications and blueprints
- Operate oxy-fuel and plasma cutting equipment for material preparation
- Measure, inspect, and verify completed work using precision measuring tools
- Operate shop equipment including overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts safely
- Communicate project issues, changes, or concerns to the Shop Supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures
What You Need to Bring to the Welder / Fabricator Role:
- Minimum of 2+ years of MIG welding experience on mild steel
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Proficiency with welding equipment and plasma cutting operations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and perform frequent bending, standing, and material handling
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal fabrication shop practices
- Reliable attendance, strong attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety
