In this role, you’ll perform high quality TIG and orbital welding while supporting an innovative, fast growing production environment. What You’ll Do as a Welder:
- Set up and operate TIG and orbital welding machines
- Read blueprints and specifications to complete accurate welds
- Perform mechanical set-ups and changeovers
- Inspect welds using gauges to verify quality standards
- Support team goals for quality and on time delivery
- Assist Engineering in developing advanced welding processes
- Follow all safety rules to prevent accidents
What You Need to Bring to the Welder Role:
- 2 year Welding Technology degree (or currently enrolled), or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of TIG welding experience with stainless steel (less required with degree)
- Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math
- Experience in cleanroom or high purity environments preferred
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is a plus
- Basic computer skills and ability to work in a fast paced team environment
