About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Welders for a leading company located in McGregor, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!
What You'll Do as a Welder:
- Work from verbal instructions, prints, or work orders
- Set up equipment, prepare surfaces to be welded, and weld parts
- Use hand tools such as grinders, portable spot welder, hammers, screw drivers, vise clamps, fixtures and jigs, etc.
- Read and layout parts to complex prints, and plan details of working procedure
- Perform complex welds
- High School/GED or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of MIG/TIG experience and ability to pass internal welding test
- Working knowledge of the principles and methods of welding
- Skill in operation of welding equipment and tools of the welding trade
- Must have basic math skills
- Ability to read blueprints and layout part to prints
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Demonstrated ability to weld complex welds
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
