What You'll Do as a Welder:
- Weld carbon steel and other materials using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes
- Fabricate and assemble tanks, vessels, and components per blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools safely
- Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Perform basic layout, cutting, fitting, and tacking of materials
- Follow safety standards, company procedures, and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet production schedules
- Must have previous welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Knowledge of welding symbols and measurements
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts
- Must be comfortable working at heights of 10-15 feet
