Welder - 1st Shift
Job Description
What a Welder will do:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Set up welding machines and select appropriate welding techniques and materials
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Operate grinders and other tools to prepare and finish welds
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding preferred
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Proficiency in MIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures #WEjobhunt
