What You'll Do as a Web Press Operator:
- Set up, operate, and monitor web press machines according to job specifications
- Adjust press controls to maintain print quality, color accuracy, and registration
- Inspect printed materials to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of press equipment
- Read and follow job tickets, production schedules, and work instructions
- Accurately document production data, waste, and downtime
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous web press or printing experience preferred
- Ability to read measurements, job tickets, and written instructions
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required
