What You’ll Do as a Warehouse Worker:
- Load and unload trucks following all safety guidelines
- Prepare, stage, and organize product for shipping, inventory, or production
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided)
- Read and follow schedules, bills of lading, and shipping paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by removing debris and damaged pallet materials
- Work in temperature controlled areas ranging from 50°F to -20°F, depending on assignment
What You Need to Bring to the Warehouse Worker Role:
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to understand and follow verbal work instructions
- Comfortable working in cooler or freezer environments (intermittent exposure)
- Willingness to work around raw meat products (may include blood/fat)
- Previous warehouse experience helpful, but entry-level candidates are welcome — no experience required
- Reliable transportation to Spencer, IA
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and/or drug screen, if required
