What You’ll Do as a Material Handler:
- Load and unload materials
- Weld GMAC, steel, and aluminum components
- Prepare materials for shipment to construction sites
- Move items from receiving/production to designated storage areas
- Record quantities of materials received or distributed
- Sort and store items on racks, shelves, or in bins
- Safely operate forklifts and power tools
What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedures
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- Reliable transportation to the Fairhaven, MN area
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction
- Willingness to cross-train within the plant
