Job Description

We are seeking candidates for a Translator role on the 1st shift, 7:00am-4:00pm, two days per week. What the Translator will do:
- Interpret in real time (English ↔ Spanish) during meetings, safety trainings, and daily production activities
- Translate materials like work instructions and safety guidelines
- Support supervisors and trainers by ensuring clear understanding of safety procedures, welding techniques, and quality standards
- Assist with onboarding and training for Spanish-speaking employees
- Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, welding helmet/shield, ear protection, etc.)
- Work in environments with welding, fabrication, heat, noise, and manufacturing machinery
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience interpreting in manufacturing, industrial, or construction settings preferred
- Comfortable working in a welding/manufacturing environment and wearing PPE
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for long periods with or without reasonable accommodations
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices is a plus
