Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Sr. Material Coordinator roles to work on a weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) from 5:00am to 5:30pm. Compensation for these opportunities is $27.00 per hour. What you will do as a Sr. Material Coordinator:

What you will do as a Sr. Material Coordinator:
- Function as the backup cube truck driver
- Clean, restock, and organize the warehouse area
- Ensure timely and accurate material handling delivery according to the needs of your production stakeholders
- Help to define, improve, and uphold process standards
- Understand and execute all types of material transactions using Epicor (ERP)
- Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product
- Comprehend and act on a production schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Operate various powered industrial vehicles within the plant
- Read and understand job travelers, pick lists, and system-generated workflow assignments
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned
- High school diploma
- Class D or higher license with a DOT health card and good driving record
- 2 years of experience in material handling in a manufacturing environment, or proven knowledge and understanding of material handling best practices
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect raw materials
- Experience using an ERP system
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and set priorities
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational and coordination abilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English
