What You’ll Do as a Senior Manufacturing Planner:
- Develop and manage detailed production schedules aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Translate customer forecasts and orders into executable production and material plans
- Identify capacity constraints, material shortages, and schedule risks; recommend solutions
- Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing, and sales to support production execution
- Monitor material availability and adjust schedules based on demand or supply changes
- Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data including BOMs, lead times, and inventory parameters
- Track key KPIs such as schedule adherence and on-time delivery and recommend improvements
What You Need to Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of materials or production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of MPS, MRP, and capacity planning principles
- Experience working within ERP/MRP systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and make data-driven decisions
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or S&OP/IBP experience preferred
