Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Spray Dryer Operator workers for a chemical manufacturing company in Fosston, MN. In this role, you’ll help support efficient production operations while maintaining high safety and quality standards in a team-oriented plant environment. What You’ll Do as a Spray Dryer Operator:
- Operate and monitor spray dryer and related production equipment
- Collect product samples, test for moisture and pH, and deliver samples to the QA lab
- Communicate with QA, supervisors, and other operators regarding process conditions and results
- Inspect, clean, and prepare equipment for product changeovers
- Perform general maintenance such as screen changes and lubrication
- Conduct routine production rounds and record data in shift logs
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, or process changes to supervision
What You Need to Bring to the Spray Dryer Operator Role:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals
- Ability to follow safety, environmental, and operating standards
- Ability to pass a pre-employment and/or ongoing drug and alcohol screening #worknow
