In this hands-on role, you’ll support daily production by preparing gelcoat materials, assisting in fiberglass layup, and ensuring high-quality standards in a clean, safety-focused environment. What You’ll Do as a Shipping Associate:
- Mix materials according to manufacturer specifications
- Spray and mill gelcoat inside a spray booth
- Assist with laying out the first layer of dry fiberglass using supplier maps
- Spray resin and roll out fiberglass materials
- Follow gel coating procedures and spraying techniques
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of spray guns and equipment
- Practice safe work habits and promote a safe workplace
- Support and strive to meet FLOE International’s standard work expectations
What You Need to Bring to the Shipping Associate Role:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with any listed duties is helpful
- Ability to pass dust and respirator fit testing (must be clean shaven)
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and twist for up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation #worknow
