Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Scalers for a leading dessert production company in Le Center, MN. In this role, you’ll help ensure accurate ingredient measurements and maintain quality standards throughout the production process. What You'll Do as a Scaler:
- Prepare and operate scaling equipment
- Weigh ingredients according to formulas and work lists
- Ensure accurate weights are deposited
- Work on the depositing line as needed
- Verify metal detection equipment is functioning properly before and during production runs
- Perform metal checks every 15 minutes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
- High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent experience
- 6+ months of related experience
- Excellent math skills
- Ability to learn company methods and standards and apply them to daily duties
- Strong communication skills to maintain proper production flow
- Familiarity with factory safety, quality, and GMP policies
