What You'll Do as a Saw Operator – 1st Shift:
- Operate automatic aluminum saws, automatic steel saws, manual saws, tube benders, and presses
- Cut materials according to production schedules and specifications
- Inspect completed cuts to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
- Safely move materials and finished jobs to the next production operation
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Enter production information and material usage data into company systems
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
What You Need to Bring to the Saw Operator – 1st Shift Role:
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and follow work instructions in English
- Ability to safely operate machinery and inspect finished products
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds intermittently
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Reliable transportation to the Faribault area
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
