What You'll Do as a Sandblaster:
- Prepare all surfaces needed prior to blasting
- Set up equipment needed
- Prepare parts for the paint booth
- Perform quality checks on parts
- Maintain company work standards Backup painter who is efficient with painting equipment and procedures to meet company standards
- Maintain paperwork and keep it organized and up to date
- Communicate job progress to supervisor as needed
- Layout, position, align and secure parts prior to painting
- Operate safety equipment and uses safe work habits while performing his/her job function
- Able to read a tape measure
- Follow quality standards and inspect parts for quality before and after painting
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, or move more than 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
