What You'll Do as a Sales Manager:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve company sales goals
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and expand existing business relationships
- Monitor sales performance, set goals, and provide ongoing training and performance management
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, customer data, and economic indicators to identify growth opportunities
- Oversee marketing initiatives and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers while assisting with high-level sales opportunities
- Manage sales budgets, evaluate ROI on programs and initiatives, and address escalated customer concerns
What You Need to Bring to the Sales Manager Role:
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- 3+ years of sales, business development, and leadership experience required
- Background in construction and knowledge required to work with contractors
- Proven ability to lead and develop successful sales teams
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively
- Willingness to travel higher volume for the first 6 months
