Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an SMT Line Lead for an electronics manufacturing company in Stacy, MN. In this role, you’ll provide leadership and hands-on support for SMT line operations, ensuring quality and efficiency. What You’ll Do as an SMT Line Lead:
- Lead and supervise SMT line staff to meet production goals for quality, throughput, and timeliness
- Provide training and work direction to operators
- Perform touch-up soldering, inspection, and rework to IPC-A-610 standards
- Read and interpret traveler documents and work instructions
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
What You Need to Bring to the SMT Line Lead Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant experience; prior lead experience preferred
- Knowledge of electronics industry standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, J-STD-001) preferred
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working under a microscope and performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR compliance)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
