Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Receivers for a warehouse/manufacturing company in Long Prairie, MN In this role, you'll help manage finished goods, support daily shipping operations, and ensure accurate inventory tracking. If you enjoy hands on work, staying organized, and being part of a fast paced warehouse team, this could be a great fit for you!
What You’ll Do as a Receiving Material Handler:
- Label and properly store packaged materials in the warehouse
- Stage outgoing loads for next-day shipments
- Load and unload trucks as needed
- Follow shipping/receiving procedures and complete accurate paperwork
- Communicate with leadership and the shipping team about upcoming loads and production priorities
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Maintain cleanliness of the shipping/receiving area
- Follow FIFO, lot coding, and food safety guidelines
- Attend required training and complete other tasks as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Receiving Material Handler Role:
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to read and write in English and complete accurate paperwork
- Basic math and computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
- Ability to use handheld scanners for product tracking
- Forklift certification and scissor lift training preferred
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Reliable transportation to Long Prairie, MN
