Compensation: $23.00-$27.00 per-hour | paid weekly
Schedule: Mon–Thurs | 4:00pm- 2:30am
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-time

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Quality Inspectors for a precision manufacturing company in Elk River, MN. In this role, you’ll help ensure that parts and materials meet strict quality standards throughout the production process. If you enjoy detailed, hands-on work and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this position could be a great match.
What You’ll Do as a Quality Inspector:
- Inspect incoming parts and materials to meet purchase order specifications
- Perform first article inspections to verify accurate manufacturing processes
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of machined components
- Use calipers, gauges, CMMs, and optical measuring tools
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment
- Record inspection data in the MES system
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T documentation
- Follow ISO 9001, AS9100, and OSHA quality/safety standards
- Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing practices
What You Need to Bring to the Quality Inspector Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and use precision measurement tools
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently with strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation to the Elk River area
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, if required
- Must be able to train on 1st shift for a few weeks
