In this role, you’ll help ensure product quality and safety through accurate testing and documentation. What You’ll Do as a Quality Control Technician:
- Perform testing on energy drinks, including carbonation, brix, can weight, and taste conformity
- Collect samples for testing, retention, and customer purposes
- Conduct hourly quality checks for pH, titration, brix, carbonation, taste, odor, appearance, and can weights
- Verify batching sheets are completed accurately and meet specifications before sign-off
- Perform Titratable Acidity and HPLC analysis for caffeine and preservative levels
- Ensure calibration and accuracy of measuring devices
- Record and document all product analysis results accurately
What You Need to Bring to the Quality Control Technician Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry
- 1–3+ years of experience in a quality environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of lab equipment, chemicals, and safety procedure
- Comfortable working in a production setting with noise, temperature changes, and damp floors
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly (with or without reasonable accommodations)
