We are seeking candidates for Quality Assurance Technician roles. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities ranges between $20.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. - Coordinate, monitor, and check packages to maximize the quality of products produced
- Perform and review teardowns
- Assure package integrity and product quality
- Perform PH checks on pre-processed and post-processed products according to standard incubation timelines
- Communicate lab data with operators and supervisors
- Perform a variety of quality checks to ensure standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment
- Perform investigations related to product spoilage
- Calibrate specified quality testing equipment
- Accurately prepare and maintain all area paperwork
- Communicate with production staff and maintenance staff to continuously improve quality and production
- Conduct post-process CIP Testing, including ATP, Allergen, micro, and visual line inspections
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a strong working knowledge of aseptic systems, processes, and practices
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices is beneficial
- Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
- Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change
- Must have a working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint software
- Proficient with MS Excel software
