Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Purchasing Assistant to support procurement and production operations for a leading company. This is a hands-on role that works both in an office setting and directly on the production floor to ensure materials are available and production runs smoothly.

What You'll Do:• Assist in sourcing materials, products, and services from approved vendors
• Prepare and process purchase orders while maintaining accurate purchasing records
• Track orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to meet production needs
• Work closely with production teams to support material flow and resolve shortages
What You Need to Bring:• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing
• Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory management processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP system experience is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
