What You’ll Do as a Screener:
- Insert spline and rolled screen into assembled screen frames to create finished products
- Inspect completed products to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to company standards
- Maintain the flow of materials between production stages
- Monitor production for inconsistencies and report concerns to the supervisor
- Identify and resolve minor production issues, escalating larger problems as needed
- Keep tools, equipment, and workstations clean and in good working order
- Follow all safety protocols, 5S guidelines, and participate in ongoing training
What You Need to Bring to the Screener Role:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to assemble products accurately
- Manufacturing experience preferred; window/door manufacturing a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally to assist at other locations, as needed
