Production Supervisor
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for guiding department staff to meet production goals.
- Responsible for communicating department and staffing needs with Operations Manager.
- Responsible for staffing and performance management.
- Maintains compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining proper maintenance on equipment in assigned production area.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for all training activities within the department.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
- Support and help develop their team with professional development short- and long-term goals.
- Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Leadership.
- Intermediate computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.).
- Written and verbal communication, math, reading, and spelling skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office, ERP, and Shop Floor Manager experience -OR-An acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality and safety.
