Job Description
Looking for an off-shift schedule? Hiring a Production Maintenance Technician to work a Monday- Thursday 2:15pm-12:45am with a pay rate between $26-$32 an hour. This means you get a three-day weekend! In this hands-on role, you’ll support production changeovers, set up equipment to meet product specifications, and help maintain a clean and efficient workspace. If you enjoy mechanical work, fast-paced environments, and want reliable full-time hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great match! What You’ll Do as a Production Set-up Technician:
- Set up, adjust, disassemble, reassemble, and program production equipment (cappers, fillers, conveyors, labelers, PLCs, pumps, torquers, and more)
- Coordinate equipment cleaning, sanitation, staging, and inspection for product changeovers
- Maintain clean parts storage, tank farm, and sanitation areas
- Connect totes and tanks to support product flow to the line
- Communicate with line leads, team leads, and maintenance to ensure smooth shift handoffs
- Follow and support lean principles and 5S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Complete required sanitation logs and documentation accurately
- Assist with light maintenance duties as needed
- 3 years of manufacturing experience
- 1–2 years of mechanical, electromechanical, maintenance, or equipment setup experience
- Ability to use hand tools and understand metric/English fasteners
- Ability to read procedures and follow written work instructions in English
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for an 8–12 hour shift
- Reliable transportation to Eden Prairie, MN
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to pass any required background or drug screening
