What You’ll Do as a Production Lead:
- Monitor activities in your area of responsibility throughout the shift
- Train and lead team members while maintaining effective communication
- Ensure all product specifications and quality standards are met
- Assist in implementing management directives and maintaining documentation
- Perform product and process tests as needed
- Track inventory and notify warehouse when supplies are low
- Maintain proper sanitation and chemical usage records
- Suggest improvements for processes and equipment efficiency
- Maintain daily reporting for customers and company
What You Need to Bring to the Production Lead Role:
- 2+ years of experience in a high-speed production environment preferred
- Previous lead or management experience required
- Ability to direct and lead people effectively
- Strong mechanical background and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Willingness to work in a noisy, dusty environment with variable temperatures
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, and customers
