About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Production Lead (Line Supervisor) for a leading manufacturing company in Sauk Rapids, MN. In this role, you’ll oversee scheduling, production, material flow, and product quality while ensuring organizational policies are followed. If you have leadership experience and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do as a Production Lead:
  • Support company goals in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery
  • Coach and mentor production employees to meet customer and quality standards
  • Evaluate labor and assembly capacity; adjust as needed for demand
  • Foster a culture of recognition, accountability, and responsibility
  • Monitor and optimize labor and assembly line utilization
  • Collaborate with the Assembly Manager to improve processes and report metrics
  • Achieve targets on KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
  • Promote and enforce safe work practices; participate in safety initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and efficiency
  • Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
  • Partner with Sales Planner to ensure on-time delivery and accurate production planning
  • Respond to lead time requests from internal teams
  • Manage performance of direct reports and develop talent
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Production Lead Role:
  • Two-year technical degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in assembly or manufacturing supervision
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
  • Leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop teams
  • Adaptability and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Strong team-building and facilitation skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
