What You'll Do as a Heavy Assembler:
- Assemble components, parts, and subassemblies according to production requirements
- Position parts using templates, measurements, and assembly specifications
- Use hand tools and air tools, including rivet guns, to build products
- Verify completed components by measuring and inspecting finished work
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while supporting 5S standards
- Follow quality standards and documentation requirements to ensure customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement efforts
What You Need to Bring to the Heavy Assembler Role:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read measurements and follow work instructions
- Ability to use hand tools and air-powered assembly tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn new tasks, cross-train, and work as part of a team
- Ability to follow company safety policies and maintain good housekeeping practices
