What You'll Do as a Product & Application Specialist:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, distributors, and installers from initial inquiry through order fulfillment and issue resolution
- Respond to customer inquiries and prepare accurate quotations including pricing, lead times, and terms
- Enter and manage customer orders in ERP with high accuracy, verifying pricing, part numbers, and delivery requirements
- Provide product and application support, helping customers select the right products and offering technical guidance before, during, and after installation
- Resolve customer issues, including order discrepancies, shipping questions, quality concerns, and RMAs
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to support orders, lead times, and issue resolution
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and application requirements, escalating complex issues to Engineering when needed
- Capture and communicate customer feedback, application insights, and recurring issues to support product, process, and documentation improvements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field is preferred
- 3–10 years of experience in inside sales, technical support, manufacturing, or customer-facing roles
- Experience with industrial or manufactured products (preferred)
- Strong customer service orientation with urgency and professionalism
- Ability to interpret technical information, drawings, and product specifications
- High attention to detail, especially in quoting, pricing, and order entry
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis
- Comfort using ERP and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
