What You'll Do as a Prime Prep - 1st Shift:
- Review and follow project specifications and work instructions
- Prepare surfaces and components for finishing and painting operations
- Sand, clean, mask, and inspect materials prior to paint application
- Load, unload, and organize materials safely throughout the production process
- Perform quality checks to ensure surfaces meet preparation standards
- Monitor supplies and notify leaders when replenishment is needed
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and disposal of materials
What You Need to Bring to the Prime Prep - 1st Shift Role:
- Previous manufacturing, finishing, or paint preparation experience preferred
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds frequently throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow SOPs, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Ability to successfully complete respirator fit testing requirements
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow to meet production deadlines
