What You'll Do Press Brake Set Up Operator:
- Set up and adjust brake machines and tooling for production operations
- Install, align, and change tooling to meet job specifications
- Operate press brake machines to bend and form metal per customer requirements
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards
- Monitor production processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and quality
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production and setup
- Train and support operators on machine setup, inspection, and processes
- Maintain documentation, report issues, and ensure clean and organized work areas
- High school diploma
- Experience in machine setup or manufacturing operations preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
- Ability to operate machines, tools, and equipment with minimal supervision
- Ability to use computers and complete production documentation accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, make adjustments, and work as part of a team
