Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Distro Pre-Assemblers for a leading manufacturing company in Faribault, MN. In this role, you’ll assemble cable products in a high-volume environment while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. If you enjoy hands-on work and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do as a Distro Pre-Assembler:
- Proficiently assemble various cable products in a safe manner
- Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Properly operate equipment to manufacture products
- Maintain and operate hand tools necessary for setup, operation, and disassembly
- Perform required quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds intermittently with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machinery, and visually inspect components and sub-assemblies
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English
- Ability to effectively use a tape measure and perform simple mathematics
- Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly
