About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Administrative Assistant for a professional office-based company in Long Prairie, MN. In this role, you’ll support accounting and finance operations through accurate data entry, invoice processing, and record verification. If you enjoy detail-focused work, have experience in accounting or bookkeeping, and are looking for a part-time morning schedule, this opportunity could be a great fit.
What You'll Do as the Administrative Assistant:
- Enter accounts payable and accounts receivable data accurately
- Verify purchase orders (P.O.s) and supporting documentation
- Process and send customer invoices
- Work within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
What You Need to Bring to the Administrative Assistant Role:
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or accounts payable preferred
- Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience working in accounting or ERP software (Business Central preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage routine administrative tasks
- Reliable attendance for scheduled morning hours
