What a Paint Technician will do:
- Apply the base and clear coats to the apparatus
- Sand out imperfections before paint application
- Tape, mask, and apply plastic cover to body and cab openings before coating
- Prepare the truck for the buffing station to streamline the process and maintain efficiency
- Utilize pressure pot, sander, and sprayer efficiently to complete tasks
- Maintenance of paint equipment and bake booth
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of autobody or industrial workforce experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
