What You'll Do as a Paint Prep Associate:
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and cleaning
- Remove old caulking and apply new caulking as needed before painting
- Operate painting and paint preparation equipment according to work instructions
- Assist with taping, masking, and surface preparation activities
- Follow strict company and regulatory safety procedures at all times
- Inspect surfaces and completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
What You Need to Bring to the Paint Prep Associate Role:
- Ability to follow directions and work well with others
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Desire to learn the industry and grow within the company
- Ability to stand and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment such as handheld paint guns, hoppers, ovens, vacuum systems, and paint conveyors
- Basic computer skills preferred
