We are seeking candidates for Packaging Operator roles on the 1st and 2nd shifts. Compensation for this opportunity is $17.00-18.00 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!
What you’ll do as the Packaging Operator:

What you’ll do as the Packaging Operator:
- Sort and pack frozen egg products according to customer specifications while keeping pace with machinery and the conveyor system
- Read scales and check case weights according to customer specifications
- Work in teams, ensuring that the conveyor system does not back up and become jammed with product
- Rotate to different positions during shift
- Determine if products meet proper specifications or not and take corrective action as needed
- Assume personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks
- Adhere to Quality work practices, follow all GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained
- Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality
- 1+ year of stable work history is preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and withstand constant motion
- Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Safety regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations #LenoxIAJobs
