What You’ll Do as a Packager:
- Maintain assigned work areas at the highest possible sanitation level
- Package bulk and bag products
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain packaging machines and equipment
- Ensure peak performance capability and smooth operation of the packaging lines, including retail
- Assist in the training of new and transfer employees
- Ensure all assigned paperwork is completed correctly daily
- Maintain a high level of personal and environmental safety
- Perform all miscellaneous duties assigned by the department supervisor
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ months of experience in a packaging role
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
- Interpersonal effectiveness as a team player
- Forklift operation skills and experience
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures
