We are seeking candidates for Packager positions on 1st shift.  The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday, 6:00am- 2:30pm. Compensation for these temp-to-hire positions is $20.19 per hour. What a Packager does:
  • Understand and follow through to assure daily packaging schedule is completed in a cost-effective manner'
  • Ensure GMP’s, Safety, and Sanitation Procedures are followed including all documentation is properly filled out
  • Ensure proper packaging and labeling for each product and customer, and inspect all equipment to assure proper operation and safety
  • Act accountable for proper operation and maintenance of equipment, i.e., scale, printer, sealers, crumbler, etc.
  • Communicate with Inventory Clerk to ensure all packaging needs are met, and report any loss of containers, packaging materials, ingredients, and products
What you need to be a Packager:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent skills by experience
  • Must be able to read, interpret and understand written and oral directions
  • Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies.
  • Must demonstrate basic math skills to calculate production yields and understand weights and measures.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally, understand, and write in the English language.
  • Meet physical requirements of the job, including standing/walking for long periods, repetitive hand use, lifting up to 50 lbs.
