About the Opportunity

What You'll Do as a Packager:
- Sort, count, and pack frozen egg products according to customer specifications while maintaining pace with machinery and conveyor systems
- Operate near ovens to prepare egg patties and/or omelets for freezing
- Conduct quality checks on product and packaging, including case weights, using scales or computerized systems
- Inspect the quality of eggs for proper size, shape, color, and overall quality; remove and document any items that do not meet company or customer standards
- Understand dates, expiration and item numbers
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained
- Report any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to use computer touch screens to start and stop lines as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain a company pallet jack license
- Experience operating a pallet jack is preferred
- Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers #EggcellentJobs
