What You'll Do as a Oven Tender:
- Bake products according to established standards for time, temperature, and product quality
- Load and unload rotary and tunnel ovens throughout the production process
- Move and store products on racks in designated locations
- Monitor oven performance and report equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance staff
- Record production data and complete required paperwork accurately
- Ensure racks are properly labeled with correct product information
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area while following GMP and food safety guidelines
What You Need to Bring to the Oven Tender Role:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience
- 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing, food production, or related experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and move product racks throughout the facility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with changing temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality and safety procedures
- Ability to work around common food allergens, including milk, soy, wheat, egg, tree nuts, and peanuts
- Ability to wear required PPE, including hairnet, ear plugs, boots, smock, gloves, and eye protection
- Flexible to work additional hours or shifts as needed
