What You'll Do as an Oven Tender:
- Bake products according to established standards (i.e., time, baking temperature, and internal temperature)
- Maximize oven use to ensure oven is loaded to capacity and always filled
- Perform manual loading and unloading of ovens
- Store and move products on racks to directed locations
- Monitor the operation of ovens and notify the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead when problems are detected
- Accurately record necessary data and complete all paperwork required for the job
- Ensure racks used are labeled properly with the correct product information
- Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
- High School Graduate or (GED), or equivalent experience
- 6+ months of related experience
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and motor skills
- Familiarity with factory policies regarding safety, quality, and GMPs
- Willingness to work other shifts/hours as needed
- Self-motivated individual
