What You'll Do as a Sales Engineer:
- Prospect and develop new business by building and maintaining a strong pipeline of sales leads
- Meet with prospective and existing customers face-to-face to understand needs and sell company services
- Deliver in-person presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer requirements
- Build long-term customer relationships, address objections, and negotiate contracts
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and performance goals
- Manage and grow an assigned sales territory through proactive outreach and networking
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities
- Provide territory forecasts and regular sales activity updates to leadership
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and sales experience
- Strong motivation and ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers
- Comfort with prospecting activities such as cold calling, networking, and trade shows
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and high performance standards
