About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Operators for a leading manufacturing supplier located in Duluth, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!
What You'll Do as the Operator:
- Assemble electronic components using processes such as winding, soldering (components and printed circuit boards), crimping, masking, encapsulating, conformal coating, and epoxy application
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of products
- Test parts, subassemblies, and finished products and accurately record results
- Document test data, procedures, and materials as required
- Use mechanical measuring tools and equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing team members to improve product quality and efficiency
- Perform assigned tasks according to instructions
- Report equipment malfunctions, defects, or failures to supervisors or responsible personnel
- Follow all safety, environmental, and workplace regulations related to assigned tasks
What You Need to Bring to the Operator Role:
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good eyesight and the ability to work with small components
- Ability to use a microscope
- Ability to set up and operate manufacturing equipment such as winders, mold presses, ovens, and test equipment
- Soldering skills are preferred
