Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Operations Support Specialist for a leading food supplier located in Park Rapids, MN. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!
What You'll Do as an Operations Support Specialist:
- Answer incoming calls, determine purpose and forward calls to the appropriate department
- Greet on-site visitors, determine nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
- Monitor visual access and issue passes when required
- Assist tour facilitator with name badges and proper PPE for visitors
- Maintain and update PPE for plant associates when needed
- Update security badges for employees and contractors
- Update crew schedules on a daily basis including vacation coverage, call-ins, and temporary job assignments
- Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, faxing and collating
- High school diploma or GED and at least one year of clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English or willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Typing speed of 40+ words per minute
- Excellent people skills and communication
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work overtime when necessary for workload and absences
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or similar field preferred #IndeedNorth
