Compensation: $17.00 per hour – paid weekly
Schedule: Day shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00AM–3:30PM

About the Opportunity
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Office Assistant for a professional office environment in Spencer, IA. In this role, you’ll support daily office operations by providing clerical and administrative assistance to various departments. What You’ll Do as an Office Assistant:
- Provide general office and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations
- Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and phone calls
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, materials, and notes as needed
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with document preparation, data entry, filing, copying, and scanning
- Support reports, presentations, and special administrative projects
What You Need to Bring to the Office Assistant Role:
- High school diploma or GED required; administrative training a plus
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced office environment
- SAP experience is a plus but not required
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred but not required
- Entry-level candidates welcome
