In this role, you’ll help maintain accurate inventory and support efficient material flow in a clean, organized environment. What You’ll Do as a Material Handler:
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Receive, move, pick, store, and ship materials accurately
- Conduct cycle counts based on item classification
- Process inventory transactions quickly and accurately
- Maintain 5S standards (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Support lean initiatives by identifying and reducing waste
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role:
- 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one
- Basic understanding of material handling and inventory control
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP/WMS experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed
