What You'll Do as a Material Control Clerk:
- Use Pick Ticket to accurately select materials for production jobs
- Use First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory method
- Ensure accurate and efficient delivery of materials to the production team
- Maintain Inventory accuracy through cycle counting
- Manage shortage reports, working directly with the Planner/Buyer
- Complete required material transactions in ERP
- Complete required material transactions in ERP Distribution Assistance
- Assist Shipper in picking distribution parts for shipments, as needed
- Assist Receiving in receiving distribution deliveries, as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems
- Computer literate, ability to learn company software programs such as the ERP system
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and must work closely with other employees in production and planning
- Ability to use hands, frequently sit for prolonged amounts of time, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance, stoop or bend, push, pull, kneel, and crouch as job requires
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
