Job Description

We are seeking candidates for Cab Line Assembler roles on the 1st shift. Hours for this position are from 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Compensation for this position is $22.00 per hour. What a Cab Line Assembler will do:
- Install interior metal and vinyl trim, speakers, and dome lights in the cab
- Crimp and connect wires and electrical components, routing of harnesses in and under the cab, and pinning and depinning of connectors
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams/schematics
- Wire the air pumps, dash components, and fuse box to complete the electrical components within the cab
- Install seats, light bars, warning lights, cameras, and other components in the cab
- Install floor matting and insulation on the exterior and interior of the cab
- Build door assembly, including all internal components, such as regulators, mirrors, rods, locks, and door glass, for assembly on the cab
- Install HVAC systems, including condensers, evaporators, vents, and coolant lines
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members
What you need to be a Cab Line Assembler:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Strong mechanical and technical ability required
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read and work from diagrams/spec books
- Ability to read and understand a tape measure accurately
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
